Co-ordinating Training - The ABTC

The Council is working to ensure that all approved professional bodies work towards achieving the same high standards whilst leaving them the flexibility to decide how they go about accomplishing them.

Continuing professional development (CPD) and specialist training is encouraged and by providing a network of communication between organisations that carry out similar roles knowledge can be shared. Such a forum will allow progress that was hitherto made in isolation to be made available to all member organisations to the ultimate benefit of animal welfare.

The co-ordination of training and other activities will breakdown any barriers that may have been perceived between groups carrying out similar activities and create a community based on co-operation with healthy and constructive competition.
